On March 17th, 14 of us are going to the village of La Herradura in the country of El Salvador to help rebuild a new school in a local village. We are all part of a faith community called Epic Life and believe we have been called to help change the world. Our faith community has worked in this village for the past 5 years on clean water projects and feeding the poor. We have recently adopted the local school to rebuild it from its desolate condition. Last year, we were able to build a brand new classroom and complete construction on an abandoned project. (See photos below).

This year we are going to continue construction on our school and will work on building an additional classroom. We will be staying with a local family who will house us, provide us with meals and transportation while we are in the country. We will also be working with the local church in serving the poor, feeding the homeless and meeting humanitarian needs. The cost per team member is $1800 and we have a total team goal of raising $25,000 for this trip.
